Regulatory Compliance
Training activities are determined based on member regulatory requirements and further development of response personnel.
Drill Exercises
Alaska Response Corporation conducts and participates in rigorous drill exercise programs in which member companies, government agencies, Alaska Response Corporation personnel and contractors actively participate in simulated oil spills.
Response Scenarios
Drill exercises are designed to be realistic, involving ‘real time’ environmental conditions, simulated and/or physical deployment of response resources and in-depth planning by the Incident Management Team (IMT).
Wildlife Preparedness
Additionally, Alaska Response Corporation participates in wildlife response familiarization training, such as wildlife hazing, bear guard, marine mammal capture and handling, and avian capture and stabilization.
